FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Huge apologies!! Just wanted to reach out to all the lovely families who contact us for a puppy. I am so very sorry that I'm not getting to my emails as quick as I would like and I'm so very sorry if we haven't been able to provide you with a puppy just yet, we dont breed a great deal and currently im struggling to get through all my emails. I am doing everything I can but this side of things does not seem to be my forte and caring for my dogs does take priority. If you ever feel like you would like to get in touch urgently though give me a call, I am always on the end of the phone for advice. x

Firstly I would like to apologise, I'm struggling like mad to get to my emails and also to reply efficiently to so many. Please know I will respond to you the second I have chance I promise. I would absolutely love to get back to everyone quicker than I'm managing to its just our life is crazy busy and I'm sincerely sorry about this. x
WHEN CAN I PUT MY NAME DOWN FOR A PUPPY? OR HOW DO I EXPRESS MY INTEREST IN A PUPPY? WHATS THE PROCESS?
Until we have the safe arrival of any litter we may have due we dont like to commit them to a home, I am happy to give lots of advice but until that point we dont take things any further. Ive never been a fan of waiting lists as I dont think its fair for me to ask any potential home to wait for us to have a puppy available but once puppies are here we can move forward with those that have kept in touch as requested. We will then discuss in more depth more about us and you as a potential new owner to one of our babies. If we are both happy to proceed we will then take definite names of new homes and once we have received a non refundable deposit you will have secured your puppy. We do ask you to read and sign a contract before you take one of our puppies and if you prefer before sending any deposit we can send this to you. Although we don't keep waiting lists I am always available for a chat on the phone about our babies if you want to get in touch!

WHAT COLOUR AND TYPE ARE YOUR CAVAPOO'S?
You will be able to see our females here on the website, they are predominately red and our stud dogs are too, so we expect the puppies to be a shade of red in most cases.
Our girls are mostly F1's so the puppies would be F1b's or F2's. However this is based on the majority of our girls and not the case for all of them. If you would like to know more about the breeding behind a girl in particular I will quite happily let you know once our conversations have progressed and you have your name down for a puppy.
HOW MUCH ARE YOUR PUPPIES?
The price of our puppies is between the new owner and ourselves. We get a lot of emails simply asking a price and we don't respond to these emails as a lot more is to be discussed before this.
Im sure you will have had a look at the range of prices on the internet of Cavapoos. In some cases people are being charged huge amounts from backyard puppy farms. Our puppies are not at the very highest end of the price range but our quality, knowledge and experience as breeders certainly is.
DO YOU USE A TOY OR MINIATURE POODLE IN YOUR BREEDING?
We breed our girls to our Toy poodle which after some in depth research can see no reason why a miniature would favour a toy in any breeding program.
CAN WE MEET THE PARENTS WHEN WE COLLECT OUR PUPPY?
Absolutely!! Although we ask people not to visit prior to collecting your puppy if you can help it. When the day comes to collect your baby, we will open up our home and lifestyle with our dogs to you. You will meet all of our dogs but especially the parents and you can see where and how they live on a daily basis.
DO YOU HAVE A BREEDERS LICENCE?
YES!
We have the highest rating of five stars for our breeders licence. We hold this with Durham County Council. Before we moved to Durham we also held a 5 Star licence with Sunderland.
So we have a great history of high standards with our care for our dogs.
HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO SOCIALISE YOUR PUPPY?
Its so important to know that a good breeder will give your puppy the best start in life which will absolutely help their mental development in the future. You have unto 16 weeks to teach your puppy as much as you can and socialise him/her as much as possible in a positive way. Remember half of this time is spent with the breeder so bare this in mind when you choose who you buy a puppy from. Your dog will almost certainly be a happier more stable adult if he/she has had a great start in life.
ARE YOUR DOGS KENNEL CLUB REGISTERED?
The Kennel club only register pedigree dogs, unless your taking part in sports/activities like fly ball etc. There is no facility available with the Kennel Club to register breeding crossbreeds.
ARE YOUR DOGS OR PUPPIES FROM YOUR DOGS ADVERTISED ON PUPPY SALES WEBSITES?
Not normally but there is the odd occasion so if you see an advert please check in with us first.

WHAT GENERATION OF CAVAPOO DO YOU BREED AND WHY, F1'S, F1B'S OR F2'S?
I favour owning Cavapoo's and poodles over the cavalier so currently I don't own any Cavaliers. I have many reasons for this but although sometimes it can result in not not knowing exactly how our puppies will be in terms of coat type I believe widening the gene pool and creating healthier dogs is more of a priority. Also I want to own Cavapoo's over the cavalier for the same reason you do, my dogs are so wonderful together they love each other because they all have similar temperaments and fit into our lifestyle perfectly.
